Are you heating the water as well? I know that you wrote that you have heat but are you talking about a heat lamp or submergible heater. If you don't have a submergible heater then thats why they are not eating. the warm water encourages them to heat. I keep the temp in my tank around 75 degrees. When I first brought them home they were approx. the size of quarters and wouldn't eat until i heated the water. I kept their water around 80 degrees when they were babies.
