I strongly disagree with this treatment for soft shell. When
push comes to shove, Vitashell is a waste of money. If this baby
has a soft shell you need to improve feeding habits (Reptomin
sticks) and make sure you have clean water, a basking area that
reaches 85 degress and a UVB light source. This is a condition
that can cause death very rapidly. The first thing you should
consider is taking it to a qualified vet.
Dry docking and using other shell products are for shell rot
etc. You are dealing with a much more deadly problem. Please give me info about your set-up.
