Well, very good info. My source of anoles is my porch! Anytime it gets above 60 you can find them laying all over the place, so I stockpile them whenever I get the chance, plus the local pet shop I work with often gets blue anoles in. So feeding them really isn't too bad, but I have put some thought into capturing some to breed my own. The only problem I see with that is that I have adult snakes, and would have to wait untill too long for the lizards to reach a useable size, except for the small ones I would be using for my juvi. A. prasina. I'll be trying hard to see how well they will take to taking rat pups, and seeing if it is feasable to raise them on the diet, or if they will have problems with fatty deposits like some snakes with diets of lizards and/or amphibians sometimes have.
Yeah, the beaked snake I'm talking about is the one a Glades, just trying to find the ends. I'll try to verify my purchasing a single snake past the Mrs. by getting a pair of Trinkets also. lol
