The snake venom is totally different from bee venom so allergenicity to one doesn't mean that you'll also be allergic to the other. I suggest having your doctor prescribe you an epipen to have next to the cages (along with pressure bandages if you have elapids or certain vipers such as Russell's or saw-scaleds).
