:I purchased an Asian Vine snake from Regal Reptiles at the Hamburg Show a few months ago. Friday she gave birth to a total of eight healthy babies. They have all shed and I am at a loss as far as what to feed them. The adults take anoles readily but these babies are so small. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please be descriptive in your responses..I need details, not "feed them minnows". Any suppliers of feeder anoles out there. Sucks to spend $5 per anole here in Virginia Thanks in advance. Keith Hamlin

Wow, congrats Keith. You've really lucked out in getting c.b. vines (since no one seems capable of captively breeding them), and if you can get them onto rodents eventually, you'll really have some awesome snakes on your hands. Baby vines most likely eat newborn or baby anoles (depending on the size of the snake, which I'm not sure of). Try contacted Xtreme Reptiles, as I got both a vine snake and feeder anoles from them. See if they have any very small ones. Also, keep in mind that the babies should be able to take food a little larger than you might expect, just incase you can't find any that are tiny. Also, you may try to find a place that sells feeder geckos. I don't really have a clue as to who sells them though, try checking the kingsnake feeder classifieds. If I were you, if you get them to start on baby lizards, try presenting a newborn mouse to them as soon as they finish eating the lizard. They may keep a feeding responce and go after the pinky as well. You can also try to juggle back and forth between trying to feed them lizards and trying to feed them baby mice. Anyway, good luck, and again, congrats.
