I recently acquired a male Philodryas baroni. I was told that he ws NOT rear fanged and pretty docile. So far he has been great. I've handled him twice and he acts almost like a cornsnake. A voracious mouse eater to the point that he is chasing a second mouse while he still has the first hanging out of his mouth. He seems to kill by VERY powerful constriction but today I thought I saw a flash of and VERY large rear fang. Mattison's Encyclopedia doesn't mention fangs. Can someone here give me a tutorial on what I have here?
