Yes I have noticed the all Black species does not have as bad an attitude as the others do. Also I have a juvenile Black & White that does not have the attitude. I actually just got back into the Mangroves after a 12 year break, but I am going to try and breed them. The animals I have presently are all males. These animals were imported from Indonesia about a month ago.

:Just curious, have you ever noticed any temperament differences between the color phases of the mangroves you keep? I notice you had all three different color phases together, and many of the pictures were in the typical mangrove defense posture except for the all black one. Those completely black ones are very nice. I have 1.1 and they are the typical black and yellow banded. Are you attempting any captive breeding? If so, how's that been going?
