If it produces a medically significant bite, boomslangs and mangroves for instance, it requires a permit.


:I was wandering what the laws in New York are about keeping Rear-Fanged snakes. I know that in some states that Rear-Fanged snakes are not illegal to keep when Vipers and elapids are illegal to keep. Is it this way in New YorK?
