A few months back I picked up my first Epipin and it was rather easy to obtain. I simply went to the Doctor, asked, then explained my need for it. I walked out with the perscription and had it that day.
I currently keep in my first aid kit in the snake room, 1 epipin, a box of benadryl, 2 presure bandages, the Swayer Extractor kit(weather its usefull or not is heavily debated but I figured why not)and a number of the nearest poison control center and the nearest source of AV. I also keep bite protacalls for Agkistrodon, Naja and Crotalus(which pretty much covers everything I have)right next to my door for easy acsess incase of the worst case senario. I feel this is the bare minimum a hot keeper should do and everyone should look into obtaining these items.
Welp, I hope this helps ya.
Peace,
J
:I would recommend consulting your local GP and having him prescribe and epipen or something similar. A true life saver as I have personally found out on two separate occasions.
:All the best
