This is my new, and best cage. I just finished building it. It's heated very well by, surprisingly, two cheap accent lights from Home Depot. For the colder months, there's a heat pad affixed to a sheet of glass, suspended off of the wood by ceramic tile (ti prevent fire).
The substrate is a mix of orchid bark and moss (with a few wood chips getting in there during the trasnfer of snakes). And yes, the cage does serve as my coffee table - the sides are acrylic, and the top is tempered glass.
The cage houses 1.1 FWC, but the male is rather reclusive, so here's my female in all her hooded glory! She actually is a puppy dog... lol.
