:I was watching the show on Animal Planet yesterday (you know, the one with the zany goofball freehandling photographer who gets bit), and he said that drop for drop, the boomslang is the most toxic snake on Earth. Is that true? I mean, I know they are very dangerous but nothing I've read mentions their venom as the most potent. Of course, I think I'd take anything that guy says with a pound or two of salt...

however, this back-fanged colubrid's venom is extremely toxic!
