on dry sand or dirt with one moist corner, several stones and a water bowl. Have at least 2 inches of substrate as they like to burrow. Offer them centipedes and small scorpions if you can, otherwise try crickets, waxworms and spiders. Some tantilla do well in captivity, some do not. I know many people that have kept them, but only temporarily for coral snake food.
