opysthoglyph snakes

Hi,
I was bitten by a cat snake(B.forsteni) a few months ago.I didn't allow him to chew for long,but i had considerable pain on my finger for a few days.My question is, had it been a good bite would i have been in trouble?I don't know much about opysthoglyph snakes, so any links would be helpful.Thanks.
