Ahh, I see. Well, thanks for the answer. Lol, I'm glad the government likes to work that way. Kind of like the Sept 11 stuff. We waiting til AFTER the fact before we actually started tightening up US customs and airline security and all that, and then we go a little over-board. I went through US customs back in 2001 early in the year coming back from the British Isles, and I could have been carrying a backpack full of anthrax (though it was actually a backpack full of European alcohol) but that woman at customs could have cared less. She just patted my big suitecase and let me on my way. Oh well, good thing I'm not a terrorist. Don't get me wrong though, I am glad that the other Boiga species related to the brown tree aren't also illegal to keep in this country, I just think it's odd that they always wait til after something bad happens before they act, rather that trying to prevent it from happening in the first place. I guess I'll just enjoy the mangrove snake, and maybe soon, a juvie Blanding's tree for now.
