Boy do I feel dumb! My beautiful almost blue A. prasina escaped (I put in a new misting system, was really struggling with the fittings, took a nap and awakened to find her gone--it looks like I had not reattached the duct tape around the water tubing well enough. The back door was wide open because it was hot so I think she is gone for good) Two days later I saw the add for those snakes and ordered two of them. Although one got its mouth caught in the shipping bag and looked like it was going to die, they both seem to be doing well after really misting the heck out of them! I looked at these guys, and thought--gee they are different from my escaped snake but it never entered my thick skull that they are a different species. I will arrange a worming and have the heat and humidiy set like for the prasina. On the off chance that the prasina is found can I house her with these guys?? (I have a fairly large 3x4 foot display case laced with large branches and lots of artificial plants with a new misting system) The prasina was almost 4 feet long (and I was considerind a larger cage in the future). The new Ahaetullas are much smaller- about 2-2.5 feet. I am sure glad that this forum and you guys are here!
