I would have to disagree with your statement that aggressive snakes have more character. I have a Trans-pecos rat that never bites and has all the character in the world. She will look at me all day when I come into a room. She will seek out my hand if i open her cage and she will try to sit in it all day. As for an aggressive snake. I would say a Texas Rat snake or maybe a Blue Beauty.
