The red-tailed green rat is Gonyosoma oxycephalum, not Elaphe frenata. Frenata is a very tame species when maintained correctly. Another aggressive one might be (Elaphe?) carinata, the Stinking Goddess, which can get over seven ft, also. Good luck with that, haha!!

:This may seem like an odd request, but I'm looking for an aggressive rat snake. Unlike most people, I find aggressive snakes more desirable, perhaps because they have more character. I've read that both the red-tailed green rat snake (elaphe frenata) and the radiated rat snake are both aggressive. Is this true?
