Hey Terry, how are you keeping the humidity up out there in Bakersfield? I wouldnt have that problem here in Alvin Texas, even right now in the winter the humidity in my snake room is 60%, lol.

:the ceiling if possible. My cage is roughly 2'deep x 4 1/2' wide x 5' high. It sits on another one of my modular cage setups so that it is about 1/2' from the ceiling. It has mesh on both sides and the front. The back is peg board so that there are holes that allow a flow of air. Spilotes like to be above everything when possible. They also like to feel they are in the open air. I posted a pic of my cage about a year ago on this forum. I'll need to look at some old pics if you would like to see it. Good luck.
