Hey Travis,
If you are getting into Elaphe and love some of the asians there is no other book to compare to the book on Elaphe by Klaus-Dieter Schulz. It covers everything you mentioned and a lot more. It costs $150 but it is worth it. I kept putting off getting it for a long time but wish I had not. After getting it and having it to refer to for a while I wish I had spent the money a long time ago.

Later, Randy W.

:Hey all,
: I have just recently (yesturday) aquired the first of my ratsnake collection. a trio of taiwans from Rick Cunningham (sorry if i spelled it wrong). I am just looking for some good books to learn more about elaphe. not just husbandry, but locale, breeding, history, and anything else about ratsnakes really. i'm mostly into asian rat snakes, but i love them all.
:Travis
