I believe there is a "bubblegum" morph of cornsnake, which somewhere in the transfer from the breeder to you got confused to just cornsnake when it was actually a bubblegum ratsnake (obsoleta ssp).

:Hi all, I received a rather mysterious snake this weekend at the NY show. It was given to me as a "corn snake". Upon taking it out of its container it is obvious that it is not a corn snake. There have been various opinions on what exactly this is. Can anyone here shed any light on it?
