:With Black rats, red and lavender albinos=t+ and t-. Are RUSTY genetic or a color phase? Anyone have any pics comparing HYPO/aneryth/normal? Thanks,Jeff
:
Here you go Jeff
First: Rusty are genetic they are co-dominant it's been proven I do have pic if needed .There's a photo of a Rusty on the forum just scroll down a little bit

Second:I bought a apair of hypos from Lloyd Lemke other's called them amel lavender[ the term lavender is used because the snake produce lavender babies]not because of the color of the snake I also have pic if needed also there's photo's of a hypo and a xanthic albino blk rat in a must have book[reptile and amphibian variants Color, Patterns, and Scales by H. Bernard Bechtel

I caught an melanistic blk rat and released not be knowing what i had back in the 90's just two years ago a breeder here in MD was selling babies at a reptile show from is W.C. adults. The snake was blk from nose to tail the lower jaw and belly as well. This I wish I had photos of [I wish I had the snake lol]

Hey Jeff add Lavender blk rat too.
Later Andre'
