Black rats and other obsoleta have everything that I am looking for in a snake. I think that the fact that they are so easy to keep and breed, and being fairly common "beginner" snakes, there will always be those who will snub their noses at them. But if I were only going to keep ONE snake, or one species of snake, it would be E. obsoleta obsoleta...hands down. Duffy
