I had a southern black that I had to feed lizards........till I accidently crushed him with a rock.........lesson kind of learned but I have found that slate works great as a substate.....just have to be more careful when working in the cage......I use slate for all my snakes now......easy to clean and looks better than newspaper............almost rushed my ball python today....LOL......just kidding.....nah i lied.......woweeeeeeeeeee! I love snakes...........!!!!!
