I mistook it for a ribbon snake. She brought it to me because it wouldn't eat. So I got a few goldfish and it's eating them just fine. It is definately a striped racer (right down to the pink at the end of the tail, which is what made me take the time to classify it!) Anyway, does anyone else have experience with these common California striped racers? (I'm used to pythons... easy going snakes!) Should I introduce pinkies eventually? Keep feeding it fish? what? Thanks. (None of the official information I've found says anything about these things eating fish... but it is!)
