Is Yellow Belly Racer the only racer found in So. Dakota?

This is a catch & release that we found at a local school ground in central So. Dakota (town pop 2300). How can something so tiny have so much Moxie! ; ) It's as if it's saying "you want a piece of me?" LOL!! Actually he did bite my hubby and I several times (as if we could even feel it!)
