Zack, I have a neo black racer and it loves thawed minnows. I just went to a pond and dipped up a couple hundred minnows and froze them. Then I just thaw one or two (depending on size) in warm water and the little racer gobbles them up. Hope this helps. Also I have fed it baby toads. Guess mine is not picky at all. Good luck.
