Rick: Breeding and egg laying occurs spring, summer and fall. Last year my pair layed clutches of four in late April, June and Aug. My observation is that feeding is very important for the female during egg production. she usually will eat every day and become very aggressive while gravid. The eggs hatch after 51 days at 80.
I keep mine in a well planted 260 gl reptarium with moving water and feed them gold fish twice a week during the winter and everyday Spring to Fall. I also suppliment with Reptical, which adheres well to the goldfish.
