Thanks for the info, don't worry, I never keep a wild caught animal, I just have this addiction to keeping them for a day to study their behaviour and so forth...thanks again. :)

: : Where in the Miami-area will I be most likely to find a few of these beauties? I've tried homestead, but all I've encountered is the everglades racer, along with rough green snakes; never a black racer, help :)
: try loop road,illegal to collect there though,ooppps!,miccosseekkee indian reservation[snake road],ask Ray SR. @ STRICTLY REPTILES,He's been down here awhile,he should know,if you go to wpb,try the roads boardering the park reserves in the the acreage,off northlake[north of],I always caught them there,nice jet black ones too,never kept any,I don't belive in keeping wild caught animals.CAPTIVE BORN IS WHERE IT'S AT,REMEMBER THAT,LOL!hope that helps...
