I caught a 4 foot jet black Eastern Coachwhip last weekend. It has a few blisters on its skin (probably from during hibernation). I would like to keep it until it sheds so I can get some photos. I thought it would be nice to feed it while it is here.
Any tips? I put a couple of thawed mice in with it this afternoon and got no response. Any advice on getting a WC subadult to eat?
I have a lot of other experience with snakes, just not WC coachwhips.
