A guy near me hatched some Colubers a year ago. They were from SE Iowa, near the Mississippi River. Sorry, I don't have the subspecies name handy. Anyway, he got them started on grasshoppers. My guess is that once they were started, they could be switched over to pinkies by scenting them with crushed grasshopper.
