mystery eggs

Well, some mystery eggs I had found finally hatched and they turn out to be racers. Problem is I live in College Station, Tx and I was wondering if there was a good way to tell the difference in racer babies?>? They are gray background with reddish brown blotches that nearly dissapear about 2/3 down the body, their bellies are cream colored with no markings
