interesting encounter

Hi,
recently i was out messing around in the desert, and while taking a break,
i happened to look at a yucca that was next to me. There slightly above eyelevel
was a large striped whipsnake just curled up in the yucca. I noticed it had what looked
like a large rodent in it, so i didn't mess with it and i left it alone. The main point is that
i was withiin aboout 2 feet of the snake and it wasn't even flinching. Usually i am lucky to get
within 25 feet of them.
