: : I found a pet store selling buttermilk racers and I want to know if I can keep it with my corn snake. They're both about the same size, and I want to make sure it poses no threat to my corn. I'm planning on getting a new aquarium soo, so it will only be temporarily. Thanks for any help.

: Racers are opportunistic feeders. Which means, basically, that if it moves and it looks small enough to eat, more often than not these guys'll go for it. Not a good snake to keep with anything that you don't *intend* to be food. Also, even if the other snake looks to big for the racer to eat, be forewarned, some snakes (most notably a garter I had many moons back) have been known to go after a snake that's too big for them, and end up killing both themselves and the other snake in the process. BTW, racers are really cool (and somewhat rarely kept, for whatever reason) snakes, so if you can keep the young racer separate from the corn I'd go for it if I were you.

: Patrick Alexander

Thanks :-)
