feeding prekilled to wild caught racer

Does anyone out there have any suggestions about getting a racer moved over to prekilled or much to the dismay of the wife,do i need to start it off with live,since that is what the snake is acustomed to?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Ive always worked with captive-bred,and i was skiddish about getting wild-caught and if he doesnt improve i want to get back out,before he becomes to acclimated to captivity.Thanks in advance!
