: I have always been interested in Coachwhips and Black racers, but they are so fast and hard to catch. Here in South Alabama close to the Florida line there is a lot of cover vegetation, and if you see one streaking across the road they are gone to cover before you can catch them.I always had better luck catching Rat snakes. What size cage did you put the Coachwhip in?
: So much has been said about racer's fit-throwing,and constant habit of roaming that I was discouraged about keeping one. With more forum support maybe I will try it.To me they are among the most beautiful and graceful snakes. In the Spring I see them flirting each other around the yard(I live in the woods)and they are so extremely fast chasing each other.I wish somebody would post care sheets for both species.
: Good luck,
: JL
