Terry,
If you got a baby coachwhip to eat on its own...CONGRATULATIONS! They are one of the most difficult hatchlings to raise. Is it an eastern or a western? I have raised easterns and they were very tough to get started. Feed him as much as he wants and at least twice a week. Do not be suprised if he stops eating in the wintertime. You may need to hibernate him if this happens. If raised from a hatchling, they make fascinating pets. Good Luck!
