Hi John , I have found coachwhip care pretty easy .I have 1.1.13 The adults are wc,the male solid black from Texas purchased on k/s.com and the female a 6 foot black head I caught in Florida { then gravid ]. They were very aggressive until I found that a larger then normal set up calmed them down considerably . They are housed in a 30 gallon long tank with 3 inches of hard wood shavings and a large sanitized piece of drift wood . A large water bowl is used often . The security these snakes feel in this set up has made them good captives, that feed regularly on adult mice. My reptile room is a steady 80 degrees and I mist the tank often .13 babies hatched and look nothing like the parents, but more like little cobras with attitude . Like the parents, they really enjoy burrowing in the wood shavings . Coachwhips prove easy captives when they feel secure ,they won't strike at the glass .Feel free to Email me with any other questions . Regards, Greg Cristiano
