As Tom has mentioned, I have been in contact with Dr. Larry Wilson who has written several articles on Drymobius species. I sent this picture to him and he told me that he recognized it immediately as Drymobius margaritiferus occidentalis.
I guess I can't argue about that since I have seen only three specimens of Drymobius in my entire life, and Dr. Wilson probably hundreds.

By the way, Tom, you said that you wanted to "leave it to her to announce". Where is the woman in this thread? :-)
