Red tail green rats are imported with numerous problems and only about 1 in 10 make it past six months, therefore I suggest that you should not take the risk of getting a wild caught animal. Captive born are a bit different and can be handled with care but can stress easily due to frequent handling although it might affect its eating schedule a bit. Unless your getting a captive born snake, your asking for big headache unless you luck out and get a long term captive that is feeding and has been treated for parasites.
