Hi,

This one seems to be doing OK so far...just had an absolutely perfect shed, is REALLY active...and loves basking. The only food it's had are the fuzzies I've been forcing down so far.

This snake is just gorgeous...I have it in a reptarium zipper cage (I think the black mesh helps it to stay pretty calm and it has a water dish and a few hiding places. I don't like to put reptiles in aquariums if I can avoid it because I do think it is too stressful. I have it in a back bedroom where there isn't a lot of traffic...pretty quiet most of the time.

How do I scent mice, this is something I have not done before. The only lizards I keep are my beardies. Where do I find feeder lizards and snakes? I'm more accustomed to tortoises/turtles and my other snakes have always been happy with pre-killed food items.

Thanks for any and all suggestions...I'd love to get this animal eating on it's own!

Annie
