:: my black racer has been eating fuzzies for a long time but has refused to eat for two weeks now. i moved him into a larger cage just before he stopped eating and expected him to stop for a little bit but not two weeks, is this normal. it has also just started to get cold here, would that have any effect. he hasnt lost any of his girth but he isnt one to turn down food. any info would be helpfull.

:completely normal. mine stopped feeding back in late october so i put them down. when they come back up around early march they'll be hitting like a school of bluefish. if he continues to refuse, brumate him before he loses too much mass. good luck w/ him.
thenk you. just to make sure i'm getting this rite, i shouldnt worry about feeding him until it warms up and he is up and going. one more thing what does brumate mean. i've never heard that before.
