:I went to a reptile show today and picked up a homemade wooden cage. I am putting my boa in it. Problem is, I am clueless as to heating it with a heat pad. I have a light bulb in there now, sitting on top, but it's not enough. The entire box is wooden and the boa had always had a heating pad under him, as he was in a glass aquarium. I know I can't just lay it in the cage because I don't want to electrocute him.
: Are there any ways to get the heating pad inside the cage where the boa will benefit from it's heat but also so he wont come in direct contact with the heat, and the pad is not exposed in the open to water?
