Help with portugese

Hey, I know my message isn't in portugese,
I'm just here to ask a favour.
My boyfriend is portugese, and he is trying to teach me.
But he hasn't really taught me much, just the occasional word here and there.
basicaly...the essentials..
like..
"kiss me " :P
"Thank you"
"Please"
"You are welcome"
and
"sorry"
funny enough the only one I kept forgetting was "please"... everything else I got first try.
I guess I wasn't meant to say "please" in the first place ;P
But to the point, would anyone be willing to email me once in awhile to help me learn some extra portugese on the side? speed up my learning, and catch him off guard?
His birthday is next month, and I wouldn't mind surprising him then(along with his gifts) with a nice well structured portugese sentence or two.
