Hi, I have a baby painted, he's only about an inch and a half or so and I'm assuming a few months old. Normally I feed him baby freeze dried shrimp, bits of Tubaflex worms, and sometimes baby crickets. I'm nervous that I'm feeding him too much protein though. I've tried breaking up pieces of turtle sticks, but they're just too big and hard for him to chew. I've tried lettuce but he doesn't seem to be able to bite pieces off, his mouth is too small. Any ideas? Are there companies that make turtle sticks for babies? He has a great appitite, it's just hard finding things small enough!
