Painted summer cage

hello,
im not new to turtles, but im new to setting them up outside.
i have a western painted turtle, his cage is a tad small in my opionion, so i thought about having something out side in the summer, so does anyone that does this have any ideas for me?
btw he has a 5-6 inch long carapice.
