lacie143-- The short answer is "no". A frog would not hurt your turtle. It's sometimes hard to tell what is toxic to a reptile because what is toxic to a mammal is often harmless to a reptile. And turtles tend to avoid things that are toxic to them because they don't taste good. You don't have to worry about the turtle. But the Painted Turtle might eat the frog. I've had good luck mixing things with turtles if I keep them well fed and they are often less likely to "taste" or try eating other things that live in their tank...sometimes. --Maxx
