I do know they are HIGHLY PROTECTED in Oregon. I would highly recommend not taking any if you are lucky enough to find one. You would probably have to travel to extreme southern oregon, look in a field guide.

: I've been looking at some lists, and it says there are kingsnakes in oregon. I'm interested in finding one. I live in corvallis, are there any people here that live close that want to go herping? I'm intersted in staying kinda close to home. Do you know where abouts they can be found? Like a place I could go herping near by? Also do you know what the laws are for collecting here? Perhaps I should just collect pictures?
