Good thing I checked this out for myself! I was previously told on this board by Frank Roberts I belive that you could no longer buy Eunectes or add new ones to your permits (since mine would be grandfathered in). This could not be farther from the truth!!!!

I spoke with the person in charge of exotic permits this week. She said you MAY add new condas to your permit. HOWEVER, they are recommending that pet stores no longer carry them because they will soon be outlawed in the state. But, if you have them on your permit before this law goes into affect, you are fine!!!

At the present time, you may buy, sell, trade, own, and add new eunectes in the state of NJ!
