I have a Uromastyx lizard. Not sure what the species is. It is reddish with greysih markings. It is feeding and defecating well.
On one side of its body, on the dorsal ribcage, is a long area of skin which appears irregular, solid grey and calloused. If this were a mamal, I would think it a scar or a large callous, although this is a strange area for a callous.
Is this something I should be concerned about, or see a vet for a consulation??
