:Dragon. According to the Herp Law site on the NJHS, these all need permits. I downloaded the Hobbiest Application - one permit for all, correct?

Yup, one permit will cover all of them

And we were going to breed the leos for our genetics unit - would I need a different permit - and would I need to get whatever those receipts are that act as a temporary permit to give to the people who take the babies home???

This I am not sure of...and the FG&W info is not very clear on it either. I *think* if you are planning on giving the babies away and NOT selling them, it may fall under the hobbyist permit. If you are planning to sell them then it might fall under the pet store permit. Sheesh, it is all very confusing, isn't it? Does anyone else know how this works? I'd hate to give out wrong info.

Albino corns I can just get a regular permit for, correct?

Yup....albinos are OK and go on the regular permit

ENjoy your classroom zoo! Mine just expanded by 6 yesterday as my dwarf hamster just had *MORE* babies! (darn rodents....) ;)
